Supporting commissioners

MBA provides evaluation strategy, commissioning and management support to client organisations (What Works Centres, ALBs and delivery agencies).

Commissioners shape the context in which evaluation is undertaken and used. Building on over a decade's experience working in research and evaluation commissioning and evaluation capacity building, MBA helps ALBs, what works centres, and delivery agencies to develop evaluation strategies and systems that generate robust evidence for policy decision making. MBA advises and supports with evaluation commissioning and management, generating tools and guidance to support commissioning, facilitating internal strategy and theory of change work that support strategy and programme improvement, and providing  realistic and pragmatic quality assurance of evaluation products.
